David Cristeal

David Cristeal is a Senior Associate with LSA.  David is a seasoned city planner with over 30 years of experience in urban planning, housing affordability and community development (Chicago, Raleigh, NC and Arlington, VA).  His most recent work primarily with Arlington, VA, has focused on the development and effective use of finance and land use tools to strengthen, increase and expand housing affordability.

He attributes their successes to the willingness and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of local, state and federal governments as well as other public/non-profit, private sector and community stakeholders.  He received an undergraduate degree in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a graduate degree in City & Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina.
